The infamous Sugar Factory American Brasserie, which is known for its extravagant presentations and candy shop, has officially opened in Hotel Victor on 1144 Ocean Drive. A team of world-class chefs created a vast menu from yummy burgers to the creamy mac and cheese that melts in your mouth. The legendary desserts top off the menu by including the famous King Kong Sundae, which serves up to 12 people. It contains 24 scoops of ice cream drizzled with caramel, fudge sauce, strawberry sauce, and also with sprinkles, chewy gummy bears, soft marshmallows, Reese’s Pieces, chocolate chip cookies, toasted walnuts, whipped cream, fresh sliced bananas and crushed waffled cones. Oh, and to top it all off it has giant swirly candy pops sticking out of the whole extravaganza. Sugar Factory is legendary for its premium cocktails. From the signature smoking candy goblets to the S’Mores Martini, a cocktail that has chocolate and marshmallows garnished with a graham cracker rim, to the Sour Apple Lolly Martini, that has a lollipop in the glass with a Pop Rocks rim for some extra kick. This new restaurant is definitely bringing some sugar to the Miami spice.

Gianni's Restaurant at the Versace Mansion Miami Beach

Gianni’s at The Villa Casa Casuarina
The Villa, Casa Casuarina, which was formerly the Versace Mansion, introduced a new Italian Mediterranean influence fine dining restaurant called Gianni’s at The Villa. Lunch and private occasions are available by appointment but guests are now welcomed at the front gates to witness rich jewel tones, magnificent mosaics, and exquisite sights that only a few have seen before. Mathias Gervais, the Executive Chef of The Restaurant at Setai, teamed up with Executive Chef Thomas Stewart to create a delicious Italian menu. Three unique dining areas accommodate the guests. One location is the patio that overlooks the elegant Mosaic Garden and contains the largest medusa on property that leads to the 54-foot long pool, comprised of more than one million mosaic tiles, in which thousands are 24 karat gold. Gianni’s also offers an intimate Onyx bar that serves cocktails in a lounge like atmosphere to go along with the excellent ambiance for the restaurant.

Apeiro Kitchen & Bar
Located in Midtown Miami at 3252 NE 1st Avenue, Apeiro Kitchen & Bar provides a Mediterranean cuisine by the chef and co-owner David Blonsky. The contemporary menu is inspired by the rich cultures of the Mediterranean countries. From lamb kefta kabobs, that have house-ground spice lamb with tzatziki sauce and koshari rice to roasted lamb chops that have a rosemary-lavender rub with butter bean and broccolini ragout, this menu will make you feel as if you travelled to the Mediterranean area. Apeiro means “infinite” in Greek and this new amazing restaurant will make you come continuously and infinitely.

Quality Meats
Quality Meats opened this Winter in the heart of South Beach at a historic Art Deco hotel at 1501 Collins, Miami Beach. The Executive Chef and partner Craig Koketsu offers a menu with elements of a classic butchery that includes large cuts of meats that are either carefully cured, smoked, or aged in-house. Two meaty dishes include the roasted veal shank, that is from the Butcher’s Cut feature and is served with the black truffle pappardelle and the second is the aged 18-ounce tender bone-in sirloin. Guests can enjoy their meals in the main dining room that seats 120, in the outdoor patio that fits 70, or in the private dining room that accommodates events for 15-50 guests. They truly put quality into their meats.

Bazi is a modern, Asian-inspired restaurant located at 1200 Collins Avenue. The theme is an elegant reminiscent of Hong Kong in the 1930’s with décor that is modern and sleek touched with gold accents. Chef Michael Pirolo diced up the menu with an interpretation of Asian classic cuisines and a modern twist. One of the Chef’s Specialties include the “Bazi Style” Peking Duck for two consisting of whole farm raised duck that is able to be served in three different ways. After an Asian-inspired meal, there is no better way to finish the meal than by trying the Pandan Rice Pudding for dessert, which contains fried bananas, candied cashews, and lemongrass caramel.
