Max Mara x YoungArts Foundation Celebrate Miami Design District Opening

By Katie Jackson Last night, Max Mara celebrated their recent Miami Design District opening by hosting an in-store event in collaboration with the National YoungArts Foundation. Guests were invited to shop the Max Mara Spring/Summer 2015 collection, with 20% of the evening’s proceeds going to the foundation. Established in 1981, the National YoungArts Foundation aims to support the next generation of artists by investing in the development of talented young artists in the visual, literary, design, and performing arts. The foundation has honored more than 20,000 young artists with over $6 million in monetary awards, provided $150 million in college scholarship opportunities, and has enabled members to work with some of the most distinguished artists in the world. Notable YoungArts alumni include Viola Davis, Adrian Grenier, Kerry Washington, Vanessa Williams, Nicki Minaj, Josh Groban, and many more. Miami VIPs and YoungArts Foundation supporters enjoyed complimentary cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres with live DJ entertainment. The luxury brand and foundation hope to host many more events together in the near future. For more information on the National YoungArts Foundation, visit youngarts.org. Beauty Trend Alert at the 2015 Golden Globes

By Gisel Habibnejad Along with fashion, celebrities at the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards brought their beauty game to the red carpet. As seen on Jennifer Lopez, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Emma Stone, Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, and Amy Poehler, the sultry smokey eye is back on trend. The stars didn’t forget to pair their romantic eye makeup with a nude lip to add a subtle yet lovely touch. The makeup looks complemented their beautifully lavish dresses adorned in sparkly accents. To complete the perfect red carpet style, celebrities such as Allison Williams and Jessica Chastain styled their hair inspired by old Hollywood glam. Some of the stars added their own edge as a modern twist to the classic look.     Photography Courtesy of E! Network
