This weekend we remember those who have fallen, celebrating in the streets of South Beach by way of urban festivals and questionable behavior. But last weekend, the craziness was equally present. Instead of booty shorts and semi-exhibitionists riding around on vespas, there were leggy models and drapey maxi dresses prancing down the long, encircling runway at the Miami Beach Convention Center during Miami Fashion Week. The international fashion affair showed off up-and-comers like Lisu Vega, Stella Jean, and the Peruvian likes of Escudo as some of the events winners. Others, sadly missed the mark. Yet despite the segregation of those designers who truly know how to deliver, all was fair in love and fashion. Here were our favorite looks of Miami Fashion Week.
